All of our animals are spayed and neutered before being adopted out. If you are here to get an animal to breed you are at the wrong place!  We WILL NOT adopt out an animal unless it is altered so DON'T EVEN ASK!

Adoption Fees
An adoption fee is required for 3 reasons. 
 
1.  To help pay for the vet and foster care for the rescued animal.
2.  To help us to be able to do the same for the next animal that we rescue.
3.  To make sure that the rescued animal goes to a good home.  If you do not want to pay the adoption fee or can't afford to, then you don't need an animal right now.  The adoption fee that we charge is less than what you would pay to buy an animal and take it to the vet to be checked out, spayed/neutered, wormed, and up to date on the animals shots.  If this is out of your price range to adopt an animal then you need to think about waiting to get an animal.  They are expensive and require a lot of care.  They rely and depend on you to take care of them.  Please really think about your finaces before you get an animal.  A lot of the animals that we rescue have been neglected for that main reason alone.  The owners couldn't even afford to feed them, much less pay for their vet care.  We will not put an animal up for adoption until it is healthy and ready to go to a good home. 
 
Adoption fees are as follows:
Dogs: $150.00
Adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, wormed, heartworm test, up to date on all of their shots, microchiped, and on heartworm and flea prevention while they are in LBL Rescues care. You will also receive 30 days of free shelter care pet insurance with your adoption.
Cats : $150.00
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, wormed, FELV/FIV combo test, up to date on all of their shots, microchiped, and on flea prevention while they are in LBL Rescues care.You will also receive 30 days of free shelter care pet insurance with your adoption.
Horses: Contact us
Since a lot of the horses that we get in are neglected and abused, they often require different medical care so the adoption fee is based on each horse individually.
